Sandrine & David are wonderful hosts who have followed their dreams and created a perfect eco retreat at Coco Reef Lodge. I stayed 6 nights and did not want to leave. Relaxed but hard working Sandrine & David have created something very special. All of the staff (local ladies from the village + Masai from the mainland) are kind & trustworthy. A measure of how wonderful the owners are is that they took me out for dinner to a local restaurant on my 3rd night as it was the start of Ramadan and David & Sandrine wanted their staff to be able to spend time with their families at home. Location, accommodation & food are perfect for those seeking a genuine eco retreat. I cannot recommend Coco Reef highly enough. D&S can be justly proud of their wonderful oasis in the south of the island.
